Olympus AS-4000 transcription kit includes a serial/USB port compatible footswitch, a high-quality stereo headset and DSS Player software for easy transcription of DSS/WMA/WAV/AIFF files.
The included DSS Player Pro transcription Module for Windows users is a fully featured software tool that provides a simple but complete method of the document creation.
This Olympus Transcription kit also includes DSS Player for Mac that allows Macintosh users to transcribe DSS/WMA/AIFF files.
Some of the features of DSS Player software are:
Plays files in the background when another application is running, such as a word processor.
Automatic download from the recorder to PC.
Announcement for arrival of new dictation file. (Windows only)
Automatically runs a word processor when replaying a dictation file starts, so that transcription can be started immediately. (Windows only)
Receives dictation files and sends created document files by e-mail or FTP. (Windows only)
Sorts received dictation files by sender. (Windows only)
Manages created document files in association with dictation files. (Windows only)
AS-4000 is compatible with all Olympus Digital recorders.
